Your cake. Your choices.

Our approach

Cake Club is provided by William Evans. It is a cake-decorating game for iPhone and iPad. We do not add advertising networks, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs to the game. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or player chat.

The game does not ask for access to your contacts, camera, photo library, microphone, or location. Online score sharing is optional and starts off.

Information on your device

Settings, progress, best stars, mastery, and local high scores are stored on your device. Memory, Relaxed, practice, and Bake-off records stay local. We do not operate an account or cloud progress service for Cake Club.

Apple may include app data in device backups according to your settings. Apple handles App Store purchases; we do not receive your card details. Apple may also process diagnostics and TestFlight feedback according to its services and your choices.

Optional Game Center

Game Center is off by default. A grown-up can review the sharing explanation and Apple sign-in before enabling it in Kitchen settings or High scores. This explanation is not a separate parental-control system.

When enabled, eligible completed solo Rush scores and levels may be submitted to Apple and associated with your Game Center identity. A game-scoped player identifier can be stored locally with pending submissions so that retries go to the same account. Cake Club does not request your friends list.

Apple’s developer leaderboard tools let us view and manage leaderboard names and scores, including removing scores or blocking a player from a leaderboard for fairness.

Turning sharing off stops new submissions and clears pending ones. It does not delete scores already held by Apple. Apple explains its handling of this information in Game Center & Privacy.

Motion controls

When tilt steering is enabled, Cake Club uses device motion locally to steer falling layers. Raw motion samples are not saved or uploaded. Motion updates stop when the game is inactive. You can turn tilt off and steer by touch.

Support messages & this website

If you email support@playcakeclub.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request, investigate issues, and maintain relevant support records for as long as needed. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or personal information about children.

Email is handled through our email hosting provider, Porkbun. Website hosting providers process connection and security information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect this site. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, marketing cookies, or an account system to this website.

Links to external services take you to their own sites and privacy practices. See Porkbun’s privacy policy, Cloudflare’s privacy policy, and Apple’s privacy information.

Your choices & questions

You can change sound, effects, and motion controls in the game. Use Kitchen settings to clear local records. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to any backups you retain separately. Game Center and backup settings are managed through Apple.

Parents and guardians can leave online sharing off and use Apple’s family and device restrictions. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

To ask a privacy question or request deletion of support correspondence, email support@playcakeclub.com. We may need information to verify the request. Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date.
